Welcome to 1st Alliance Treatment Services (formerly RMOMS Treatment Services)
.

1st Alliance Treatment Services believes that treatment is integral to our work in welcoming offenders into a pro-social environment and creating long term change. It is our belief that as the individual criminogenic needs of these clients are identified and addressed in conjunction with substance abuse issues, these clients are offered a broader range of skill and their likelihood of successful completion and long term change are increased. In designing the treatment program we explored the obstacles that typically prevent a client from completing their treatment requirements and worked to mitigate or eliminate these barriers to completion.

In order to combat the high cost of treatment for the client, 1st Alliance Treatment Services program is designed so that clients pay a single monthly fee to attend all their individual group session per month. The model is designed in the same way as a club membership with the fees due at the first of the month for service all month long. If the client is discharged, refunds of client payments will be given. However, designing the program in this way allows the client better control over their monthly expenses as the fee is the same whether there are 4 or 5 weeks in the month.

In an effort to further mitigate the cost obstacle for the client, 1st Alliance Treatment Services does not charge a fee for the intake or client enrollment process, only the cost of the Change Companies curriculum booklets are required to get started in treatment.

1st Alliance Treatment Services offers treatment to both DUI and Substance Abuse clients. Our program utilizes approved curriculum as outlined in DBH treatment rules and makes use of The Change Company’s system of interactive journaling to help the offender apply the principles presented in treatment to their individual experiences. The use of this system allows for tailoring the components of the program to suit the needs of the particular group. In addition, the selected curriculum was developed in collaboration with the International Community Corrections Association and includes a strong emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy and relapse prevention techniques to address the link between substance abuse and criminal activity.
